Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus

The S8 looks amazing and one new thing you can notice is that the screen really goes as far up and down as it possibly can with the buttons removed at the bottom. The buttons are bow built into the screen and the new infinity screen really is sharp. The bezel around the side has been removed so all you see is pure content and no bezel. It’s the biggest, most immersive screen on a mobile device of this size. And it’s easy and comfortable to hold in one hand.
“The Infinity Display has an incredible end-to-end screen that spills over the phone’s sides, forming a completely smooth, continuous surface with no bumps or angles. It’s pure, pristine, uninterrupted glass. And it takes up the entire front of the phone, flowing seamlessly into the aluminium shell. The result is a beautifully curved, perfectly symmetrical, singular object.” Samsung
With the new bigger screen it means split screen is a lot better and you can increase the size of the screen you want more off so multitasking is a lot easier.

The new S8 features a new front camera that has smart Auto Focus that tracks faces, so whether you use your arm or a selfie stick, everyone in the shot will be in focus. Enhanced multi-frame image processing keeps all the selfies crisp and clear. The camera works well day and night so you never have to worry about where you are when taking a picture. The rear camera is 12mp and has a bright F1.7 lens and large 1.4µm pixels bring in more light when there’s not enough around. It also has the ability to shoot 4k videos.
You can even capture fat moving objects, the S8 focuses as swiftly as your eyes do using its Dual Pixel sensor, bright lens, and wide aperture, delivering photos that are crisp and sharp. It uses enhanced image processing, taking multiple shots and combining them into one high-quality photo. There are also different focus modes that focus on the foreground, background, or both giving you a really great picture.

Samsung have really stepped up security on the S8 and there is iris scanning for tight security, face recognition for unlocking your phone right away, and defence-grade security. Samsung say “The patterns in your irises are unique to you and are virtually impossible to replicate, meaning iris authentication is one of the safest ways to keep your phone locked and the contents private.”

There are 3 ways to unlock your new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus: –

Iris scanning: – Hold up your Galaxy S8 or S8+ and align your eyes with the twin circles on-screen to scan your irises. Your phone is unlocked with a look.

Face Scanning: – Raise your phone as if taking a selfie to use face recognition. It’s a fast and effortless way to unlock your Galaxy S8 or S8+.

Fingerprint scanner: – As you pick up your Galaxy S8 or S8+, your finger goes naturally to the fingerprint sensor on the back and it’s unlocked in one seamless move. You don’t even have to wake up the phone first.

You can even secure your files which was needed for a long time and we are glad Samsung have built this in. If you have files and apps that need to be kept truly private, keep them in the Secure Folder. Once there, they can only be accessed by you. And Samsung’s defence-grade Knox system will make sure it stays that way. For ultimate privacy, you also have the option to make the Secure Folder visible to only yourself.
