Samsung Galaxy S8 everything you need to know

Samsung have been very creative in the smartphone market and have been creating some of the best smartphones in the world to compete with the giants that are Apple and their iPhones. Samsung have been keeping up to date with the slimness, speed, software, memory, battery life, resolution and much more over the years to ensure that they are still a competitive brand. They have recently had some issue with their smartphones catching fire like the Samsung note 7 so are making sure that nothing like that happens with this new money making smartphone.

Specs

Here is a spec list of what is expected in the new Galaxy S8:-

The list confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will get a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with support for microSD card expansion. Note that this list just refers to the larger Plus model, we expect the regular S8 to come with a 5.8in screen instead. The leaked resolutions confirms a super wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

There have been reports that the device will come fitted with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 processing chip. But there have been reports that Samsung will use its Exynos 9 processor, the world’s first to use 10nm FinFET technology. Samsung says it has 27 per cent more performance and uses 40 per cent less power than the previous chip with 14nm technology.

Some leaks have confirmed 12-megapixel dual pixel rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, iris scanner for improved security, Samsung Pay, wireless charging and a bundled pair of earphones.

Launch and Price

The launch for the S8 will be around March 29th 2017 with release expected to be around a month later like Samsung usually do, 21st April 2017. We are guessing the cost will be around £600-£800.
