Mercedes AMG GT

The Mercedes AMG GT is an absolutely beautiful car. It designed really well making it look mean and quick but also looking rather elegant. This AMG GT’s doors open like normal not like before when they would open up like birds wings making it difficult to get out of tight car parking spaces. The overall design is very nice and it’s quite compact giving it a sport look. The long, wide bonnet with bulgy headlamps sit well on the low riding machine. The rear is stunning and looks very elegant. The smooth shape of the rear with the slim tail lights look very attractive and futuristic.

“Handcrafted by racers, it’s a thoroughbred sports car, a celebration of the sheer joy of driving. With its sublime styling, supremely balanced handling, and breathtaking performance, the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé is a Gran Turismo in the grand tradition. Equally at home on the race track, the autobahn, or winding mountain passes, it combines blistering acceleration – 0-62 mph in as little as 4.0 seconds – with exemplary long journey comfort.

Lightweight construction and front mid-engine design ensures optimum weight distribution, making the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé incredibly fleet-footed yet perfectly poised. You can even tailor driving characteristics to suit your taste, while the aviation-inspired cockpit exemplifies high-performance luxury. And then there’s the sound of the engine at full roar. That just has to be heard to be believed.”

The interior is very well designed with all the latest technology and is full of luxury. The car is made with the finest materials and it feels the price of the car and beyond. The steering wheel and infotainment are easy and intuitive to operate, the COMAND Online multimedia system based around a dashboard-mounted 8.4-inch colour display covers all your entertainment and communications needs. From wireless music streaming to internet browsing and 3D map navigation.

There’s a CD / DVD player, MP3 compatibility, 10 GB music register, DAB digital radio tuner, Bluetooth wireless streaming, and a media interface for connecting and playing your iPod or other MP3 player. For serious audiophiles, options include a state-of-the-art Burmester surround sound system (with Premium equipment line).

The Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé also features a touchpad on the centre console, which makes operating the various COMAND Online functions as easy and intuitive as using a smartphone.

The Mercedes-AMG GT’s performance and handling are truly startling. One look at the specification of the AMG GT is enough to get you excited about the experience of driving this beast. An all-new 4.0-litre V8 with twin-turbochargers, a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, a low centre of gravity – it has all the ingredient to be a great sports car. It has 456bhp, can go 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds with a top speed of 189mph and a combined mpg of 30.4. Guys this is truly a great sports car and one that would suit you perfectly.

“First, the engine. A muscular 4.0-litre V8 biturbo, it produces 476 hp, 630 Nm of torque and powers the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.0 seconds. Opt for the Mercedes-AMG GT S Coupé and the figures are even more remarkable: boasting an uprated 522 hp and 670 Nm, it clocks 0-62 mph in an eye-watering 3.8 seconds.

But sports car performance is about more than just straight line speed: it’s about balance and agility, touch and response. And the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé delivers on all counts.

Its front-mid mounted engine layout provides an optimal weight distribution between the front and rear axles of 47% to 53%. So you enjoy incredibly agile, assured handling. It’s extremely lightweight too – crafted largely from aluminium and carbon fibre, the bodyshell weighs just 231 kg. Yet it retains excellent torsional rigidity, ensuring outstanding stability and driving dynamics.

With its front mid-engine layout and lightweight, largely aluminium construction, the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé offers sensational handling. The 47:53 front / rear weight distribution and low centre of gravity lend it effortless balance and composure, and the race-bred double wishbone suspension ensures outstanding agility and response.

Powering through curves and corners, the car feels planted and precise, while at higher speeds it is stable and assured. Steering and suspension provide plenty of feedback, letting you know just where the limits are – so you can have more fun exploring them.

Aerodynamics have been finely honed to enhance performance, with every surface and component designed to optimise air flow and traction. At higher speeds, an electrically extendable rear aerofoil serves to reduce lift.”
