Justin Gatlin steals Usain Bolts last ever 100m race

Usain Bolt the best ever sprinter and world record holder came 3rd at the World Athletic championships in London, 2017. He was beaten in his last ever 100m finals by the American Justin Gatlin who finished 9.92 seconds, Christian Coleman finished 9.94 seconds and Bolt finished 9.95 seconds. Justin Gatlin won his second world 100m title 12 years after his first to ruin eight-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt’s final individual race. It looked like Bolt had a slow start and that seemed to have hurt his race while the two Americans had a great start to get them ahead and they stayed ahead.

Gatlin was banned twice for doping and was booed before the final race. On winning you could see how much it meant to him as he celebrated wildly. He was humble enough to bow to Bolt as a sign of respect.

Bolt holds 8 gold medals, 11 world championships and holds world records at all three distances 100m, 200m and 400m.
