Google has released its new Pixel 2 and 2 XL smartphone in response to the ever evolving competition from Samsung and Apple with their new flagship phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and iPhone X. This smartphone does look like it can keep up and it has some pretty cool specs that you would expect it to have in this age. The Pixel 2 comes in 4 colours – Black, White, Blue and Black and white – with an option of 64gb storage or 128gb storage at a cost of £629 (up there with Apple and Samsung).
The overall look of it is very nice indeed it is tall, slim and what you would expect for the price in terms of looks. 8] The Pixel 2 is 145.7mm tall, 69.7mm wide with a 7.8mm depth. The screen is 127mm diagonally long and features an AMOLED screen (16:9) and a screen resolution of FHD 1920 x 1080. The Pixel 2 XL is 157.9mm tall, 76.7mm wide with a 7.9mm depth. The screen is 152mm diagonally long and features an pOLED screen (18:9) with a screen resolution of QHD+ 2880 x 1440.
7] The fingerprint scanner is on the back of the smartphone making it easy to unlock your device while holding it firmly. It runs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with a security chip to reinforce your lock screen against malware and hardware attacks. Google Play Protect Works continuously in the background to keep your device, data and apps safe.
6] The smart camera has dual-pixel autofocus. The rear camera is 12.2mp with a f/1.8 aperture and 1.4 μm (pixel density). The front camera has a 8mp camera with a f/2.4 aperture and 1.4 μm.
