Fiat Abarth review

Fiat are a brand that have been synonymous with first time buyers. The Fiat Punto was a popular choice for first time buyers and now the Fiat 5oo has become very popular here in the UK. Let us introduce you the Fiat Abarth, Fiats sporty, tuned up version of the normal Fiat 500. This car is like what the Volkswagen Golf R-line is compared to the normal Volkswagen Golf, or the BMW M1 compared to the 1 series.

The car looks great and is small and compact but packs quite a punch. It is exactly the same as the Fiat 500 in terms of design but it is not labeled Fiat. The badge on the grill/ rear shows Abarth and with the wide stance and double exhaust on the rear it looks very sporty. Don’t under estimate this little beast.

Its a nice small car and looks like an ordinary road car. The front of the car is small and compact and the rear is sporty and slanted. It’s a car that can operate both as a normal car and as a little sporty car.

The interior is very minimal and simple. You get your multifunction steering wheel, infotainment screen and a 5 speed manual gearbox. You get a 4 cylinder engine that produces 145 hp at 5500 rpm with max torque of 206 Nm at 3000 rpm (sport mode).

This Abarth also has a top speed of 130mph and can do 0-620mph in 7.8 seconds. Thats not bad for a 1.4litre engine.  This is a nice little sporty version that Abarth have created and its one considering if you want something different.
