The fastest growing fitness clothing brand that everyone’s talking about

Gymshark is a fitness clothing and accessories brand based in the UK. It designs and makes clothing that is well made and well fitted, not lose fitting like gym clothing was before. Bodybuilders and gym enthusiasts are really taking to their products and posting images of them in their apparel all over social media. GymShark is worn by big youtubers who run fitness channels and many well know fitness people like Steve Cook. This has given GymShark the exposure it needs with videos being made to review their products to massive audiences.  Their clothing is made for both men and women.

“Created in 2012 by teenager Ben Francis and a group of his high-school friends. Gymshark has grown from a screen printing operation in a garage, into one of the fastest growing and most recognisable brands in fitness. This growth comes from a devotion to producing innovative, effective performance wear and an ever-expanding social presence, and above all a commitment to the Gymshark vision:

Before there is an action, there is an idea.”

Their clothing is made carefully and patiently starting with an idea, a sketch of the item, then developing cad designs, selecting fabric and trims, choosing designs, selecting colours and then creating the product. They are growing very quickly from selling $500,000 worth of products in 2013 to $52,000,000 in 2017. They started with just 8 employees in 2013 and now have 150 employees in 2017 all over the world.
Ben Francis is the CEO of gym shark and was born in 1992. He attended Aston University and dropped out in his second year of studying Business and management. While at university he was a pizza delivery boy and dreamt of creating great clothing for the fitness industry. GymShark make most of their sales through their online site and do have popup shops located around the world. They continue doing expos and big fitness events where possible. They are a brand to watch out for and they create some amazing items of clothing.
