7 ways to keep motivated every day

Keeping motivated is hard but to understand motivation we need to understand ourselves. Why do we want to achieve something? is it because we want a change in our life or to change our life? Getting motivated is the first step to achieving success but staying motivated and using that motivation to stay focused can be a little tricky. If we’re not motivated we are likely to waste our time and not achieve the goals we set out to achieve. Even the most determined people can lose motivation sometimes.
1] Find the reason for the change you want
Life is difficult and sometimes we are not where we want to be in life. I have made many bad decisions in life that have lead me to places I never taught I would ever be. Those places I was in really hit me and made me ask myself; is this what you want to be doing all your life? Why are you wasting your life doing something that does not improve you and make you a better person! Knowing and understanding this made me want to change and I did not want to be in that situation I was in for the rest of my life where I was wasting my life and not doing anything productive and challenging. Nobody will come and change your life for you, you have to do it yourself. Develop that inner strength that can push you through all difficulty and move you towards your goal. If ever you feel demotivated remember the reason for the change you want, that should keep you pushing you forward.
2] Know what you are aiming for
Know your goals and know exactly what you want to do. If you have no goal set then you will wonder round aimlessly wasting your time not knowing what to do. I have been there. Always know what you want to do and make sure you have it engraved in your mind. Know what you want to do, make it your goal and do everything you can to achieve it. Life without goals and purpose is a life full of uncertainty and difficulty. Know your goals and pave your path towards it.
3] Set smaller goals in order to hit that big goal
To get a big goal in one step can be very difficult and rare. We need smaller goals to get to a bigger goal. If you want to start-up a company and you need x amount of dollars which you don’t have you need to plan how to get those dollars to then go and start-up. Don’t expect anyone to back you with money or belief. You have to find those yourself. So to get those dollars could be doing a job for a certain period of time to get the money you need, even if you don’t like that job but it is brining in the money you need, keep it. Getting jobs in this day and age is proving difficult. There are many people who would love a job just to get off state benefits or unemployment but don’t have the qualifications or experience to get one and sometimes we can get one easily and we take that for granted. People would love to be in the position we are in. So set smaller goals that pave the way to the bigger goal. Knowing you are achieving your daily or weekly goals brings a sense of accomplishment and purpose, that can take someone out of depression. It’s powerful. For belief know that God has given you the strength to achieve anything, you just have to put your mind to it and make it happen. Forget about everyone else the only person that cares about you is you. Believe and Make it happen. Care for others it brings joy into your life.
4] Reward and treat yourself
You need to reward yourself for every goal you achieve, life is short you deserve it. Look after yourself and reward yourself that will make chasing the goal sweeter as you know there will be a nice reward waiting for all your hard work. Make sure you understand you. Sometimes you can suffer from burnout. That is when you work for so long without a break that you cannot go on anymore. That stifles productivity and your best work. What works for you? How long can you go before you need a break. Make sure you get the break you need so you can refresh and recharge to come back stronger. If you don’t take a break and work through burnout then your work will suffer and that could delay so many things and push deadlines even further. So have patience and take the break you need, it will save you so much time in the long run. You need to be at your best constantly.

5] Don’t blame yourself

Never ever be too hard on yourself for missing a deadline you set for yourself. Sometimes it just wasn’t meant to be. If you worked really hard and tried everything and it did not work out then that’s fine, it was not meant to be and god planned better for you. Never regret, that can do nothing for you and you cannot change anything from the past anyway. It just brings bad, negative feelings. Learn from the past and try to never let it happen again. You are the only one who can look after yourself so make sure you are kind to you and be the best you can be. Be the change you want to see in the world and yourself.

6] Be happy and have fun

You deserve to be happy. Don’t wait until you are rich to be happy as you will be wasting your life. Work hard, get your tasks done for the week (have fun in between) and if you have the time left over go out and have fun. Do the things that make you happy, even if they are crazy, as long as you don’t hurt anyone and are not doing anything legally wrong. Everybody has the right to be happy and have fun. Make sure you find what it is that really makes you happy and go do it. That could be meditating, a hobby, sports or just about anything.

7] Read a lot and watch successful people

You should read as many books related to your goal and personal development as you can to help you on your journey. These books will give you a wealth of knowledge and open you up to ways of thinking to achieve success. Also watch successful people (Youtube is great to find them) and take their advice and tips on how to be successful and what to watch out for. Learn from other peoples mistakes and make sure you don’t make them. We all fail but it is better to fail quickly and cheaply and when you fail the amount of knowledge you learn from failure cannot be found anywhere else. You fail for a reason and when you know the reason and how you failed, you can learn how to fix it for next time and you may never have found that information from anywhere else. It builds you up and makes you a better person, to be a better entrepreneur or whatever you are aiming to be. People can never understand what is meant for you (lessons etc.) through your own path that is destined for you.

Be creative, take calculated risks and be the best problem solver. You will find success.
